Two people were hurt after a collision between two vehicles at a West Philadelphia intersection crushed one car and caused the other to slam into a nearby home.

The two vehicles collided near the 6100 block of Ellsworth Street Sunday afternoon. The impact caused one vehicle to crash into a white truck in the street while the other vehicle, a red Toyota, traveled across a lawn before striking a home.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital. Officials have not yet revealed their conditions. The homeowners were not in the house at the time of the crash.

“I just can’t even fathom the whole repair process and the displacement,” Beverly Johnson, a neighbor of the homeowners, told NBC10. “It’s heartbreaking.”

L&I officials will determine if the home is still safe for the family to live there. Officials continue to investigate the crash.

It’s only been a few months since the Eagles’ Super Bowl win, but the trick play the Birds used to score against the Patriots in the first half, dubbed the “Philly Special,” is already considered by many to be one of the greatest plays in the team’s history.

So great in fact, that one father-to-be decided to reenact it to mark a very special occasion.

Twitter user Donny Football posted a video on social media of the dad-to-be and a group of friends pulling off the play for a gender reveal. As the pink smoke that rose after he spiked the ball indicated, he’ll be having a girl.

Take a look at the video above. Then watch the actual Philly Special for the 2000th time.

A crowd of 200 teens fought, disrupted traffic and damaged a police vehicle in North Philadelphia Sunday night, officials said.

Police responded to a large crowd of teens on Broad and Parrish streets near Temple University's campus shortly before 7:30 p.m. Investigators said the teens were fighting, stopping traffic and at one point damaged the window of a police car.

The group also went inside the Wendy's restaurant on 1700 North Broad St. and overturned the tables, police said.

"I thought something was going to happen," Darlene Jenkins of Northern Liberties said. "You know the flash mobs. So I threw my food in the car and I walked over there and got something to eat because I didn't want to get caught up in anything."

Philadelphia police officers on the ground and in the air helped to disperse the crowd.

"It was a lot of cops," Jenkins said. "I'm going to say at least 15 cars maybe and then there was some out here."

Two teens were hospitalized during the incident. No arrests were made.
