A woman's body was discovered this afternoon in the brush on a busy Old City street.
The body of a 34-year-old woman was found face down in bushes near the Irish Memorial Park on the 100-block of South Front Street, police said. Needles were also found close to the body, according to authorities.
An investigation into the woman's death is underway, although officials on the scene it was most likely caused by a drug overdose.
Police are unsure how long the body was in the bushes.
