A Camden woman is facing neglect charges after leaving four children in a car in the parking lot of the Cherry Hill Mall, according to police.
Cherry Hill Police were called to the mall on August 16, after security found the children, ages nine, eight, three and one unattended in a locked car with the windows down.
Police say Vianey Derio-Vega, 33, the children's aunt, left them in the car while she went inside to shop.
Fifteen minutes later, mall security located her and escorted her back to her vehicle where police were waiting.
Derio-Vega was taken into custody and charged with neglect.
The children are all in good health.
A hearing is scheduled for later this month.
