The University City Science Center is looking for a few good digital health start-up companies.
From now through March 31, 2015, the Science Center will be accepting applications for its new “Digital Health Accelerator” program.
The program — supported in part by Pennsylvania’s “Discovered in PA - Developed in PA” initiative — will provide financial assistance and other services to up to six qualified companies in the digital health or health IT sector. Companies picked for the accelerator program will receive funding of up to $50,000; office space at the Science Center in West Philadelphia; professional mentorship; and introductions to a variety of health-care stakeholders including insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and hospital and research institutions in the Philadelphia region.
