EDITOR'S NOTE: The details of this story are graphic and may be upsetting for some

Community members plan to gather Wednesday to remember the baby killed after her mother allegedly doused her with an accelerant and set her on fire along a South Jersey road late Friday night.

The vigil will take place at the United Methodist Church in Pemberton Township on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The mourners plan to remember the newborn girl who died about two hours after medical personnel airlifted her to St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia.

The infant's mother, 22-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier, of Pemberton Township, New Jersey, is charged with one count of murder after she allegedly lit her newborn daughter on fire along Simontown Road just before 11 p.m. Friday.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire in the roadway and, when they arrived, they found the baby on fire.

A  neighbor, Davis Joseph, spotted the blaze, but did not realize a child was on fire until his wife heard the baby's screams.

"It's disheartening, like a nightmare what I saw out there," Joseph said.

Dorvilier was arrested and being held on $500,000 bail.

Authorities say Dorvilier could have dropped the infant off at a police station or hospital anonymously as part of New Jersey's safe haven law.

Strangers created a memorial for the unnamed baby girl with flowers and teddy bears.

An autopsy on the baby will be performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner. The details on the girl's birth are under investigation.

Leftover Moisture Refreezing on Roads

$

You'll want to take extra care on the roads Monday morning. Leftover moisture from Sunday's heavy rainfall is refreezing in the north and west suburbs, including parts of Bucks, Delaware Montgomery and Chester counties, creating potentially dangerous conditions.

PennDOT crews are patrolling the region and treating roads with salt. Around 180 crews were in Chester, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties by midnight.

If you're heading out at anytime before 9 a.m. Monday, make sure you check on the road conditions in your area.

"It could be a hazard just to go out to the car," NBC10 First Alert Weather Chief Meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz said. "The ground is still moist due to high humidity and relatively light winds. This should add up to the icy patches, especially on driveways, sidewalks and untreated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses."

The conditions will improve rapidly once the sun comes up. Gusty winds will dry the ground during the day as temperatures rise into the 40's.

Refreezing Timeline

North & West suburbs, Poconos and Lehigh Valley - Now to 9 a.m.

I-95 Corridor - 2 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Delaware - 3 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Jersey Shore - 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The temperatures will then rise to 44 degrees Monday afternoon.

Icy roads led to numerous accidents throughout the region Sunday, with some even turning deadly. Icy road conditions led to a massive and deadly pileup involving more than 50 vehicles on Interstate 76 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

At least two people were also killed in a multi-vehicle accident on I-476 near Marple Road in Marple Township. A third deadly crash took the life of a fourth person on Route 55 in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Authorities warned drivers throughout the region to stay home and avoid driving due to the dangerous conditions.

Flooding was reported on Union Mill Road, Walton Street and Hartford Road in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, on the Christina River in Delaware as well as the Pennypack Creek in Philadelphia. Excessive runoff from the heavy rain caused higher levels on small creeks and streams as well as ponding.

While much of the rain tapered off Sunday night, there are already reports of re-freezing in the north and west suburbs, including West Chester Pike in Delaware and Chester counties. Leftover moisture is refreezing on sidewalks and roads, causing more danger for drivers and pedestrians.

Officials also reported icy conditions Sunday night throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties as well as a three-vehicle accident caused by ice on State Road in Bensalem.

As the week stretches on, temperatures will peak and dip. Tuesday we're in for a cloudy day, a chance of light snow at night and a high of 44.

Wednesday we're in for a chance of a clipper storm which will bring a light mix of snow and rain as well as a high of 39.

Thursday and Friday we're in for cold and dry conditions with highs of 37 and 38. Saturday we're in for a mostly cloudy day with a high of 44 while there's another chance of snow and rain Sunday as well as a high of 39.

1 Year Later: Young Architect's Killer at Large

A year after she was gunned down in front of her mother during a robbery in Northern Liberties, Amber Long's murderer remains at large.

The 26-year-old architect and Philadelphia University alum and her mother, Stephanie, were walking to their car along Front Street on the evening of Jan. 19, 2014 when two men attacked them.

Detectives said Amber Long did not resist one of the robbers as he pulled at her purse, but he turned and shot her point blank in the chest.

"I don't forgive him. I can't. I can't," Stephanie Long said last year speaking of the man who shot her daughter over a $14 handbag. "She just isn't there anymore and will never be again."

The men never got the purse and ran off as Amber's life faded into the cold night.

Surveillance cameras caught the crime on video and investigators questioned two men in the case, but they were later cleared. Since then, leads have remained scarce.

A $37,000 reward remains for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Philadelphia University has also raised $19,000 for a scholarship fund in her honor.

Pope May Visit Philly Children's Hospital, Prison

Pope Francis could visit a children's hospital or youth prison when he makes his trip to Philadelphia in September, according to a Catholic archbishop organizing the visit.

Archbishop Bernardito Auza revealed proposed plans for the pontiff's United States tour to the Catholic News Agency during Pope Francis' stop in the Philippines.

NBC10 previously confirmed Pope Francis will spend three days in Philadelphia from September 25 to 27. He will take part in the World Meeting of Families conference and will deliver Sunday mass on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. That mass is expected to draw 2 million people to the city.

The pope will take part in a prayer vigil and meet with families while here. Auza said the trip would also likely include "a visit either to a children’s hospital or a juvenile prison."

Before arriving in Philadelphia, Pope Francis will spend several days in Washington D.C. and New York City. The pontiff confirmed Monday that he would be attending those cities before stopping in Philadelphia.

He will arrive in Washington in the evening on September 22 and meet with President Barack Obama at The White House the next morning, Auza told the CNA. He's expected to speak at a special joint session of Congress and say mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. There he will also canonize Fr. Junipero Serra, the pope said.

Pope Francis will then travel to New York on September 25 and speak before the United Nations, the archbishop said. He could deliver a mass at Madison Square Garden and visit Ground Zero as well.

The pope also discussed a desire to start his North American tour in Mexico, but said it's probably not possible logistically.

"To enter the USA from the border of Mexico would be a beautiful thing, as a sign of brotherhood and of help to the immigrants," Pope Francis said.

The 78-year-old pontiff's visit to the United States will be his first since being chosen to lead the Catholic Church in 2013.

Despite the release of information by organizers and the pope himself, a spokeswoman for the World Meeting of Families and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia could not confirm the details saying nothing has been finalized. She said The Vatican will formally release the schedule at its discretion.

Report Ranks Local Towns Some of the Safest in Pa.

$

Several local suburbs ranked high on a list of the safest Pennsylvania towns, according to an analysis by Movoto Real Estate.

Upper Providence Township in Delaware County claimed the number one spot on the list, which is determined by the number of crimes in areas with a population of 10,000 people or more.

Movoto Real Estate used data from the 2013 FBI Uniform Crime Report to determine the number of murders, violent crimes, property crimes and chance of crimes per person.

The chance of being a victim of crime in Upper Providence Township in Delaware County is 1 in 382, according to the report.

Buckingham Township in Bucks County earned the number two spot and Upper Uwchlan Township in Chester County came in at number three. In fifth place was Northampton, Bucks County followed by Lower Salford Township in Montgomery County.

On the list of top 50, Newton Township, New Britain, Doylestown Township and Upper Providence Township in Montgomery County made the list. Additionally, three municipalities throughout Bucks County secured a title in the study.

The group looked at 200 towns throughout Pennsylvania. None of the towns on the top 50 list had even one murder in 2013. The violent crimes per person maxed out at 0.00069 – so few crimes that it barely rounds up to even a tenth of one person.

Buckingham Township, with a population of 20,396 had fewer violent crimes than the number one, but nearly twice the number of property crimes and total crimes, the report found. Your chance of being a victim of crime is 1 in 2,016.

At number five, Northampton Township had the highest population of 39,772. The number of violent crimes per person was 0.00025 and the total crimes per person were calculated to be 0.0049.

The chance of being a victim of crime in Upper Providence Township in Delaware County is 1 in 382 – no other town came close to competing with that low probability.

Over the years, the list had very little overlap, according to Movoto Real Estate. The only township to make the list twice is Franklin Park, which about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh.

Demolition has begun on part of a long-standing Burlington County, New Jersey farmers and flea market severely damaged by a fire last year.

Backhoes began knocking down walls and loading debris from a section of the Columbus Farmers Market into dumpsters Monday morning.

A fast-moving fire spread through the market's large red barn along Route 206 in Columbus last November and grew to four alarms. Flames shot through the roof as firefighters from several towns tried to knock down the blaze.

The fire destroyed part of the indoor market, but spared a section. The outdoor market was not damaged. The market, which opened in 1929, claims to be the Delaware Valley's oldest and largest flea market.

The market's owners said they plan to rebuild the space and make it bigger and better.

As for what sparked the fire, officials may never know. After a long investigation, the state's fire marshal ruled the cause as undetermined last week.
