A triple shooting late Friday night in New Castle County left one man dead.

Police found 23-year-old Gene Malone on the 600 block of Windsor Street, Wilmington, around 9:30 p.m. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and rushed him to Christiana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities located two other victims, ages 24 and 18, on the 600 block of West 6th Street with multiple gunshot wounds to their legs.

Officials also transported those two men to Christiana Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Shortly after police arrived on the scene, a large crowd of bystanders gathered. The group became unruly, leading to resisting arrest charges for one person. An officer suffered a minor injury while dealing with the crowd.

An investigation into the shooting is underway. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorites.

Philly Jesus Rejoices, Charges Dropped

The District Attorney of Philadelphia announced its intention to withdraw charges against Philly Jesus, according to a statement from the Center City celebrity's attorney.

"The DA's decision reaffirms our contention all along: Philly Jesus' arrest for pre-textual charges was without legal merit," said Charles Gibbs, an attorney for 28-year-old Michael Grant -- who wears a long white robe and carries a staff while reciting scripture in LOVE Park.

Grant --the City of Brotherly Love’s pious answer to Times Square’s Naked Cowboy-- pleaded not guilty Thursday to disorderly conduct and failure to disperse charges.

An officer arrested him on Nov. 14 for allegedly soliciting money from tourists who were taking photos with him, according to reports.

A recovering drug addict, Grant embraced Jesus as part of his efforts to maintain his sobriety.

"I considered myself completely healed and cured when I surrendered my heart to Jesus Christ,"  Grant, who said he has been sober since June 4, 2013, told NBC10 in September.

Shortly after his arrest, the BBC announced it would tell his story, which includes occasionally baptizing people in the fountain of LOVE Park.

Reward Up to $50K in Search for Shane Montgomery

LATEST STORY: Search for Shane Montgomery Heads to Lincoln Financial Field

Family members of Shane Montgomery announced the reward for information about the whereabouts of the missing West Chester University senior, who disappeared early Thanksgiving morning after a night out with friends, has increased to $50,000.

Karen Montgomery, Shane's mother, announced the increase at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Manayunk on Rector Street Saturday afternoon.

"If money is the incentive to find Shane, then I would go to the ends of the Earth," Karen said Saturday. "I just need one courageous person to come forward."

"There's no confirmation of a picture, video," she continued. "The video that has been collected has been very grainy."

The lack of visual evidence prompted Shane's relatives to announce a new strategy as part of their search efforts earlier this week -- asking others who were barhopping in Manayunk the night before Thanksgiving to check their phones for photos of the missing student.

"We are still looking for selfies, videos on Main Street with something in the background that might resemble Shane," said Karen, who was wearing a green ribbon Saturday to honor her son.

A mass followed by a rosary service for Shane will take place at St. John the Baptist starting 6 p.m. Sunday.

Shane, a West Chester University senior and Roman Catholic High School alumnus, was last seen around 1:45 a.m. on Thanksgiving when he was asked to leave Kildare's Irish Pub on Main Street in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.

Karen encouraged the public to visit the website, HelpFindShaneMontgomery.com, for the latest information.

The search expanded beyond the northwest Philadelphia neighborhoods to other sections of the city earlier this week.

Reports indicated one of the bars' bouncers spotted the missing student about an hour after he left the Main Street pub, but investigators determined the sighting was not Shane after reviewing surveillance video from the area.

Shane's parents, Kevin and Karen Montgomery, appeared on the Today Show Thursday, telling host Matt Lauer about the massive search effort and how difficult their lives have been since they first reported their son missing.

"I always knew Shane was a special kid," Karen said. "Your kids are always very special to you. I've kind of always questioned my parenting skills and I've come to the conclusion that I didn't do such a bad job with Shane and I hope that we find him soon."

Philadelphia police do not suspect foul play, although his disappearance is considered suspicious. Authorities have used K-9s, helicopters and marine units to search Manayunk and Roxborough, as well as the Schuylkill River, which borders Main Street.

The FBI joined the search efforts Saturday and posted digital billboards over the holiday weekend in hopes of locating Shane. The federal organization's task force is often involved when a missing persons case has "suspicious circumstances," an FBI spokesperson said.

A reward for information about Shane's whereabouts climbed to $40,000 Thursday, a day after his West Chester University classmates held a candlelight vigil to show support for the search. A bake sale at Roxborough Memorial Hospital Friday aimed to keep the public's attention on the search.

Shane, who weighs about 140 pounds and stands 5-foot-11-inches tall, was wearing a buttoned- down gray shirt, gray hoodie and jeans when he left the bar. He also has a unique Celtic cross tattoo on his shoulder.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-3353/54 or the FBI at 215-418-4000.

Vandals Burn Down Firebird Festival Phoenix

An iconic centerpiece for a popular festival managed to "rise from the ashes" after it was burned to the ground during an early morning arson.

Organizers spent three months building a 30-foot Phoenix statue for the 11th annual Phoenixville Firebird Festival which features live music, crafts and food. During the event the Phoenix statue is burned during a ceremony, symbolizing the economic rebirth of the Phoenixville Borough after going through years of decline.

According to festival organizers however, someone burned the structure down early Saturday morning, several hours before the event was scheduled to begin. Firefighters arrived at the scene of the blaze in Friendship Field on Fillmore Street around 3:30 a.m. While no one was hurt, the statue was destroyed.

"I thought I woke up to a nightmare," said Ralph Cockerham.

Despite initial concerns the festival would be canceled, the Phoenixville community came together after news of the burning spread on social media. Volunteers eventually donated enough wood, pallets, nails and hammers for organizers to build a replacement statue.

"What we're seeing right now, it just made it so much better," said Mike Kuznak. "I've never seen the community come together like this before."

The festival ran as scheduled with the lighting ceremony taking place at 8 p.m.

"The acts of hatred, whatever it may be, and then you see the acts of kindness here from all the citizens in Phoenixville," said Cockerham. "It's very emotional from many different angles and I'm really proud to be part of this community."

As for the vandals, police continue to investigate. If you have any information on the incident, please contact the Phoenixville Police Department at 610-933-8801.

One person was killed in an accident on I-95 near the Christiana Mall in Delaware early Saturday evening.

The accident occurred around 7:10 p.m. on I-95 southbound at the State Route 1 flyover in Newark, Delaware. Officials have released few details regarding the accident but said it involved a pedestrian and at least one person died.

Christopher Hanyok, 42, of Delaware, told NBC10 he was driving right behind the car that struck the victim.

"I saw something fly up in front of a vehicle but couldn't really tell what it was," Hanyok said. "It kind of landed in the lane in front of me. I had to hit my brakes and swerve to avoid hitting it."

Hanyok also said he briefly looked at the driver moments after the crash.

"I looked over at her and she kind of threw her hands in the air as if she didn't know what happened," he said. "Of course we're all in shock and everything."

Still not quite sure whether it was actually a person who was struck, Hanyok drove further up the road and called 911. He also said the driver who struck the pedestrian eventually stopped.

The accident caused all but one lane on I-95 southbound to close. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes as the investigation continues.

A Galloway Township, New Jersey, woman received an unexpected visitor Saturday afternoon while she was in the middle of cooking.

The woman told police she was inside her home on Northampton Road and placing sweet potatoes in the oven when a deer suddenly burst through her front door and ran into her house.

The woman said she managed to follow the deer into the back of her home and lock the animal inside her master bathroom. She then contacted police.

When police arrived they found shattered glass on the front storm door and a damaged frame on the main door indicating the deer was strong enough to run through the doors and enter the home. After a brief standoff, the officers managed to safely escort the deer out of the home and release it back into the wild.

Police said the deer caused significant damage to the bathroom while it was locked inside.

The homeowner was not injured during the incident.

'Die-In' for Brown to Take Place After Eagles Game

Clergy leaders and protesters will stage a “die-in” in the middle of a busy intersection outside the South Philadelphia Sports Complex following Sunday’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks in a show of solidarity for Mike Brown and Eric Garner.

Clergy leaders with Philadelphia Organized to Witness Empower & Rebuild (POWER) called for a “Solidarity Die-In” which is set to take place Sunday at 7 p.m. at the northeast corner of Broad and Pattison Streets.

“After the Philadelphia Eagles game, the protesters will stage a "die-in" in the middle of the intersection,” a POWER spokeswoman said. “They will actually lay down in the middle of the street and stay there for four minutes and thirty seconds, symbolic of the four hours and thirty minutes that Mike Brown laid dead in the streets of Ferguson.”

Preachers, imams, priests and rabbis with POWER will lead the protest, according to the spokeswoman.

The scheduled demonstration is one of many sparked by the recent grand jury decisions not to indict the police officers involved in the deaths of Eric Garner and Mike Brown.

Brown, 18, was killed after being shot several times by Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9 in Ferguson, Missouri. Wilson said Brown assaulted and charged at him, but the teen's family and some witnesses dispute that. A grand jury declined to indict Wilson in the case prompting violent riots in Ferguson as well as protests nationwide.

Garner, 43, died July 17 in Staten Island, New York after police officers attempted to arrest him for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes. Officer Daniel Pantaleo was caught on video wrapping his arm around Garner’s neck as the heavyset asthmatic repeatedly yelled, “I can’t breathe!” Garner was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later.

On Dec. 3 a grand jury decided not to indict Pantaleo, a decision which also sparked nationwide protests.

"While the protests are in response to these two incidents, the demonstrators say they are fed up with a justice system that has no regard for African Americans," the POWER spokeswoman said. "Black teenagers are 21 times more likely to be shot dead by police than their white counterparts according to national statistics. Protesters say the overarching problem is structural, systemic, institutionalized racism."

A similar “die-in” in solidarity for Brown and Garner took place inside Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station Wednesday afternoon.
