A horse is finally free after he was stuck in a mud pit for several hours.
Officials say a woman was riding her horse shortly before 6:30 p.m. in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. As they were riding, the woman and animal fell in a mud pit in a wooded area near Old York and Sawmill Roads.
After about a half hour, crews were able to rescue the woman who suffered a minor shoulder injury.
The horse, named "Bruno," was trapped for about two hours before he was finally rescued. Officials say about 60 emergency responders helped free the animal.
"Bruno" was not seriously injured.
