Philadelphia Police are searching for two teens who were captured on surveillance video vandalizing a newly-built park in Manayunk.
The crime took place just before 2 a.m. on Nov. 8 at Venice Island Park along Rector Street, police said.
One male teen could be seen breaking stomping on LED lights installed in landscaping surrounding the park's amphitheater and ripping rope lights from railings.
Police estimate up to $30,000 in damage was done to the recently dedicated park which is built overtop of a large stormwater runoff storage tank adjacent to the Schuylkill River.
Both teens are believed to be between 14 and 16-years-old with thin builds. One has long brown hair and was wearing a knit skull cap while the other had dark short hair.
