At least two people were hospitalized due to a gas leak at a South Philadelphia home.
The leak occurred late Monday afternoon at a home on the 1200 block of South 8th Street. Firefighters and workers with L&I as well as PGW responded to the home.
According to officials, two people at the home as well as a neighbor were treated for dizziness. SkyForce10 captured the victims being placed on a stretcher and into an ambulance. Two people were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment.
Officials also told NBC10 a few neighboring homes were evacuated.
Officials are working to fix the leak and are testing for carbon monoxide.
