Strong winds from the northwest are blowing through the Philadelphia area on Sunday bringing cold temperatures, causing damage and power outages.

The NBC10 First Alert Weather Team is tracking sustained winds around 25 mph around Philadelphia with gusts blowing as quickly as 44 mph. Those high winds are also forcing the temperatures to stay low in the mid-40s with wind chills in the 30s in some spots.

NBC10 has been tracking a number of strong wind reports and damage from viewers throughout the region.

Brandon Hayes found his shed blown out of his Media, Pennsylvania backyard on Sunday morning.

"The wind is no joke right now. That shed has lasted multiple hurricanes," he wrote on Instagram. Hayes tells NBC10 that no one was hurt.

At Philadelphia International Airport, there are arrival delays averaging 82 minutes, airport officials said.

PECO Energy told customers they were "working hard to restore service to customers effected by high winds." More than 24,000 customers were without service mid-day Sunday, according to PECO. The bulk of those outages -- some 15,000 -- were reported in Montgomery County.

These are just a few reports about the high winds. See others below and share your own with NBC10 by using the hashtag #NBC10WX when you post to your social networks.
