A Philadelphia Police officer is in the hospital after he was shot in the Tacony section of the city early Tuesday morning.
Officials say the unidentified officer was involved in a shooting with a suspect on the 6400 block of Ditman Street around 12:30 a.m. Both the officer and the suspect were struck, according to officials.
The officer was taken to Einstein Hospital. Officials have not yet revealed his condition or the condition of the suspect.
