A teenager told Philadelphia Police that a man indecently assaulted her as she waited for the bus over the weekend.
Special Victims Unit investigators said the unidentified man assaulted the 19-year-old as she waited at a SEPTA bus stop near N 6th Street and Lehigh Avenue in the Lehigh section of the city around 8 p.m. Sunday night.
The woman told investigators that the man darted off in the direction of 7th and Somerset Streets after she confronted him about the indecent assault -- an attack that police say is sexually charged but not a rape.
Police said the man, who appeared to be in his 30s and stands about 5 foot-4-inches tall with a small build, wore dark cargo shorts and a gray shirt at the time of the attack.
