A man mowing the lawn on the median of a busy Northeast Philadelphia roadway was hit by a car sending him to a local hospital.
The man was hit when he stepped off the curb of the median on Roosevelt Boulevard near Borbeck Avenue just after 11 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The victim was transferred to a local hospital with where he is in critical, but stable condition, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities.
