A woman is recovering after police say she crashed her SUV into a home in Chester, Delaware County.
Investigators say the woman was driving an SUV on West 2nd and Kerlin Streets around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday when she somehow lost control of her vehicle.
The SUV struck a Cadillac that was in front of a home on 2nd and Kerlin. The SUV then smashed into the house.
The woman suffered minor injuries. A man was also inside the home at the time of the crash but was not injured.
Investigators suspect the woman was driving at least 50 miles per hour at the time of the accident and that she swerved to go around a car that was in front of her, leading to the crash.
Investigators also say the woman is under suspicion of DUI though she has not been officially charged.
