Authorities are searching for a man who claimed to have a bomb when he robbed a Philadelphia bank Friday.
Investigators say the suspect entered the Washington's Savings Bank at 2548 Lehigh Ave. in the Port Richmond section of the city holding a device that appeared to be a pipe bomb.
The suspect took off with $1,000 in cash, according to officials.
Police describe the robber as a white male in his twenties. They say during the robbery the suspect's face was painted black and he was wearing a black hoodie, black bandana and white gloves.
Authorities ask anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact police.
