Wet weather has jump started this week. Philadelphia set a rainfall record today with the most rain on March 30. The National Weather Service recorded 2.26 inches of rain as of 2 p.m. at the Philadelphia International Airport.

Rain rain go away. Well, not yet. A flood watch is in effect until 2 a.m. Monday morning.

NBC10 meteorologist Brittney Shipp says the area could experience rainfall for the next 12 hours and ponding will be a concern for drivers during the Monday morning commute. There's a slight chance of additional showers Monday morning, but the precipitation should taper off by the afternoon, says Shipp.

But, it's not just rain, water and flooding that's possible.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Poconos Sunday evening with a possibility of wet snow, sleet and ice. There's also a chance for sleet to hit the suburbs north and west of Philadelphia, according to Shipp.
