Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who robbed a linen store in the Olney section of the city last weekend.
The man, who police are trying to identify, entered the Anna's Linen store located at 101 East Olney Ave. on March 7 at 4:55 p.m. and lingered for nearly an hour, according to Northwest Detectives. Police say he then approached a 21 year-old employee and asked for assistance.
Detectives say the suspect then reached for his waistband and told the employee that he would "shoot up the place" unless both cash registers were emptied. The employee emptied the registers into a plastic store bag and the suspect fled on foot with $1,500 in cash.
The suspect is described as a male in his late thirties who has a mustache, a husky build and bad skin. Police say he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black skull cap, and tan timberland boots with white spots.
Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect are asked to contact Northwest Detectives at (215) 685-3353.
