A Philadelphia man was arrested for allegedly burning the bodies of two people inside a van.
William Deputy, 36, was arrested on Saturday and charged with murder, arson, possession of firearm prohibited, abuse of corpse and other related offenses.
On February 22, firefighters were called to the 4600 block of Trenton Avenue around 4 a.m. in the city's Frankford section for reports of a car on fire. Upon further investigation, they discovered two bodies burning inside.
Deputy was arrested on Saturday in connection to the incident. His next court date is scheduled for March 19.
Police still have not identified the victims and say they were burned beyond recognition.
