Friends and family are mourning the death of a student at the University of Pennsylvania.
Elvis Hatcher, a Sophomore at the school, died on Tuesday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. According to the Daily Pennsylvanian, his death was ruled a suicide. He was 18-years-old.
Hatcher served as the treasurer of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. His passing marked the fourth undergraduate death at Penn since the start of the school's winter break, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian.
Last month, 19-year-old Penn student Madison Holleran died in Center City. Her death was also ruled a suicide.
Senior Kevin Zhao also died over the winter break while traveling with his family in China. Junior Pulkit Singh died earlier in January in his off-campus house.
