A man is in the hospital after police say he drove the wrong way down a street, striking three cars.
Police say the unidentified man was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Frankford Avenue Saturday morning.
Police say the man struck two parked, unoccupied cars, knocking them 50 feet onto a side walk. He then struck another vehicle that was traveling northbound on Frankford Avenue. The man in the vehicle that was struck was not injured, according to investigators.
The alleged wrong-way driver was taken to Frankford Torresdale Hospital. Investigators have not yet revealed his condition or whether or not he will be charged.
