Police are asking for help locating a missing woman who suffers from schizophrenia.
Family members last saw 21-year-old Fatima Rahman on Jan. 2 at her home on the 4300 block of Chestnut Street, according to officials.
Police say the woman left her medications behind in her residence and without them she will become increasingly paranoid and avoid contact with people. Authorities say she also left without her cell phone and jacket.
Officials describe Rahman, who is of Bangladeshi descent, as 5-feet 1-inch tall, about 120 pounds, with brown eyes, olive skin and shoulder-length black hair.
She is known to frequent the areas of 43rd and Walnut streets and 34th and Race streets, according to reports.
Anyone with information on Rahman's whereabouts is asked to contact the Southwest Detective Divsion at 215-686-3183.
