Emergency crews are at the scene of a train derailment in Chester County.

Officials say two boxcars of a cargo train overturned at 900 Wagontown Road in Valley Township and went into the Brandywine Creek. No one was injured in the accident and there's no threat to the environment.

The train belongs to Norfolk Southern Rail and was carrying scrap metal to the Lukens Steel Mill.

The accident comes a day before a scheduled hearing from the National Transportation Safety Board in Washington. During the hearing, NTSB officials plan to gather facts about the train derailment in Paulsboro, New Jersey last November that caused a noxious gas to be released into the air.
