Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:35 p.m. near the intersection of Lansdowne Avenue and Allison Street in Overbrook, according to police.
A 26-year-old male was killed after suffering nine gunshot wounds to his head, back, right hand, buttocks and both legs, according to police.
Police say the second victim, a 24-year-old male, was shot once in the left leg and is in stable condition.
Both victims were transported to the Hopsital of the University of Pennsylvania.
