Beer drinkers, beware.

Constellation Brands Beer Division announced a voluntary recall of select Corona Extra 12-packs and 18-packs that may contain small glass particles. The affected beer product was distributed in the United States.

The vast majority of Corona Extra products are not affected by this recall, according to Constellation Brands, and no injuries have been reported.

The company estimates the issue to affect about 1 in every 5,000 bottles, impacting less than one-tenth of one percent of Corona Extra 12-ounce clear bottles in the marketplace.

Consumers may check the 8-digit alphanumeric code printed on the side panels of the cardboard cartons of 12-packs and 18-packs, and on the necks of Corona Extra 12-ounce bottles, to determine if their products are part of the recall. The list of production codes that are part of the recall are listed here.

Constellation Brands Beer Division says do not consume the product if your Corona Extra is a part of the recall.

For more information and to submit for reimbursement, contact the Corona Extra consumer call center at 866-204-9407 or report the product recall here.

This is the second recall of Corona Extra in two years due to potential hazardous glass particles. A similar voluntarily recall was announced in August 2014.

With a "heavy heart," the United States Air Force declared a missing Dover Air Force Base airman last seen on Super Bowl Sunday dead.

Col. Michael Grismer, 436th Airlift Wing Commander, declared Senior Airman Keifer Huhman dead Thursday -- more than one month after Huhman failed to report to Dover Air Force Base.

"This decision was made with a heavy heart," said Grismer. "Each of us is heartbroken by the loss of our wingman, Keifer. In moments like this, all of Team Dover feels the impact of such tragedy. Our most sincere condolences go out to Kiefer's family, friends, and teammates here at Team Dover. We also thank all our local authorities for their professionalism, compassion, and tireless efforts in searching for Senior Airman Kiefer Huhman."

Huhman, who served with the 436th Communications Squadron, failed to report for duty on Feb. 8. After news of his disappearance surfaced, Dover Police learned that his 1997 Ford Ranger with Florida tags had been towed from the shoulder of the William Roth Jr. Bridge that spans that C&D Canal late Sunday night. Huhman was last been seen leaving his home at the Blue Hen Apartments the previous night, said police.

A memorial service for Huhman will be held at the Dover Air Force Base Main Chapel on Friday at 3 p.m.

The Air Force didn't reveal any details about what led up to Huhman's disappearance.

Fire Truck Crash Leaves Questions in Philly

$

A quiet Sunday morning in November turned into a frightening experience for Jamall Henderson and his neighbors.

A Philadelphia Fire Department ladder truck jackknifed on Baltimore Avenue between 54th and 55th streets.

“I thought they were coming through my front wall,” Henderson told the NBC10 Investigators.

The ladder truck crashed into crashed in cars, sending one into Ludlow Harding’s shipping business.

“We had to replace the security gate and push out the wall,” according to Harding.
But residents wondered if anyone was held responsible.

The Philadelphia Police Department did not issue any tickets related with the crash. In an email a spokesperson wrote, “There were no traffic violations issued to the Fire Operator as they were operating in emergency mode at the time. The crash was due to a combination of a curve in the road, trolley tracks, wet conditions, and speed too high to compensate for these factors combined. Only parked cars were struck.”

Philadelphia Police could not determine the speed of Ladder 13 at the time of the crash.
Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Derrick Sawyer believes this is one of the worst fire truck accidents he has seen. Four firefighters were injured. One is still recovering while off the job.

One firefighter was disciplined for the crash and Sawyer says the driver was speeding. "I think a lot of people would believe that whenever you operate an emergency vehicle that you can go as fast as you want but we still have laws that we have to follow which means that we have to follow the speed limit,” Sawyer says.

It’s unclear whether Ladder 13 will be repaired. Similar trucks cost between $500,000 to one million dollars.

“Once you talk about the damage to the truck and the cost of repair versus the cost of what the truck is worth currently then you make a decision on whether or not you want to repair,” according to Sawyer.

To put the crash in perspective, the fire department responded to 370,360 calls in 2015. It had 319 accidents, ranging from minor side view mirror damage to the Ladder 13 crash.

The City of Philadelphia received four claims related to the accident. One has been settled. One is pending resolution and the other two are open.

Harding did not file a claim. He thought the process would be too slow and he needed repairs done quick. License and Inspections cited him for the damage to his property caused by the fire truck. He had thirty days to make the repairs or face fines.

His insurance company paid $15,000 to fix the metal gate and façade. Harding believes the damage could have been much worse.

“Lives could have been lost. We’re just so, so lucky that no one lost their life,” Harding says.

Frustrated SEPTA Commuters Stranded

Hundreds of commuters were stranded Thursday evening after power problems shut down the Paoli-Thorndale line in the middle of the evening rush.

"I can't believe how incompetent they handled this, they should have a plan in place," stranded passenger Robert Zirkel told NBC10's Drew Smith, "Whoever is in charge of the customer service whould really be fired for tonight's events."

It all started around 5 p.m. near the Ardmore train station. Officials said the stoppage was due to an Amtrak power issue. Septa officials said 6 trains with an estimated 500 passengers were stranded along the line when the problems began. This estimate did not include passengers who had not boarded trains yet.

SEPTA advised commuters traveling from Philadelphia to Villanova, Bryn Mawr and Radnor to take the Market-Frankford Line to 69th Street then transfer to the Norristown High Speed Line. Commuters looking to travel further out would need taxis or private vehicles to return to their parked vehicles.[[371749941, C]]

"Right now, we're monitoring the situation and we'll get notice out to the public if service will  be impacted tomorrow," a SEPTA spokesperson told NBC10's Drew Smith.

Commuters lined up at 30th Street Station awaiting buses to transit locations along the route. Buses finally arrived around 8:30 p.m., more than 3 hours after the problem began.

Chris McConathy told NBC10 he opted to call an Uber from the Radnor train station to take him home after he was delayed for hours. "SEPTA made no efforts to even refund people for the trip or anything," McConathy said he finally arrived home about 3 hours after his train should have arrived.[[371750101, C]]

Officials said the Paoli-Thorndale line was suspended until further notice.
