A dramatic rescue was caught on camera after two children were locked inside an SUV in the midst of dangerously hot temperatures.

Preliminary reports indicate a woman was at the Upper Darby branch of Delaware County Community College on the 1500 block of Garrett Road around 11 a.m. Monday when her two children, a baby and a young girl, were accidentally locked inside her SUV with the keys inside. The mother quickly called 911. Security guards and Upper Darby Police officers then arrived at the scene.

Jason Graham, who was with his grandchildren in the parking lot during the incident, recorded the rescue on his cellphone.

“The cops and the mother were real jumpy,” Graham said. “The cops were moving real quick, non-stop.”

Graham’s video shows two officers carefully breaking through the window of the SUV.

“The one cop to me looked real fidgety,” Graham said. “Like, ‘We gotta get them out! We gotta get them out!’”

After breaking a hole in the window they reached inside the vehicle, unlocked it and opened the doors. Graham told NBC10 the mother took the baby out of the car while a police officer took a young girl. Both children were then taken into a police cruiser.

While Graham told NBC10 he wasn’t there from the beginning, from what he saw the entire rescue took about three minutes. Graham also said he saw an ambulance arrive at the scene before he and his grandchildren left.

Police have released few details on the incident and officials have not yet revealed the condition of the children. Temperatures were in the 90’s at the time of the incident.

Trump Takes Commanding Lead in Latest National Poll

A new poll released Monday finds Donald Trump taking a commanding lead nationally among the 16 Republican candidates vying for the GOP presidential nomination, but raises questions of whether the real-estate mogul's political campaign can survive his latest controversial comments.

According to the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll, Trump is at the top of the crowded Republican field with 24 percent support among GOP voters, almost double that of his next-closest rival Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who captured 13 percent.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush currently stands a close third behind Walker with the support of 12 percent of polled Republican or Republican-leaning registered voters.

The survey, fielded from Thursday to Sunday, did show a considerable drop in support for Trump following disparaging comments the businessman made about U.S. Sen. John McCain's time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

Trump held steady at 28 percent support during the first three days of polling before dropping into single-digit territory following those comments, according to ABC News.

“Although the sample size for the final day was small, the decline was statistically significant,” the Washington Post reported.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie all received between 8 percent and 3 percent of Republican voters’ support.

Ranking within the Republican field is playing a significant roll in the 2016 race for the White House. Fox News Channel and CNN both announced that only the top 10 candidates, based on an average of the most recent national polls, will qualify for a spot behind a podium for each of the network’s first major GOP debates.

The poll of 1,002 adults was conducted with cell phone and landline respondents from July 16-19. It has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.

A 27-year-old Pennsylvania man was seriously hurt after jumping from a 45-foot cliff into the pool at the base of the Adams Creek falls at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area over the weekend, authorities said.

Park rangers were on patrol on the trail to the falls when they got a call about the injured man around 5 p.m. Sunday. It took rescue crews three hours to carry the man along the rugged 1.5-mile trail from the falls to the road, where he could be put in an ambulance and taken to a hospital.

The trail includes four creek crossings; at one spot, the man had to be raised and lowered over steep cliffs, authorities said.

Parks officials said Sunday marked the fifth time since April rangers responded to rescue calls about waterfall jumpers at Adams Creek. A parks service spokeswoman said jumping is "strictly prohibited," as is rock climbing and swimming.

A 2-year-old girl died, and a grandmother and 4-year-old child were injured when a mail truck hit them as they tried to cross a New Jersey street Monday, authorities say.

The vehicle slammed into the pedestrians on Rahway Avenue in Elizabeth around 10 a.m., officials said. Witnesses said the grandmother was carrying the 2-year-old, who was tossed into the air by the impact.

"When she looked back she saw the truck and turned but the baby flew up," said witness Andres Figueroa. "It's hard to see a baby like that."

Witnesses said the grandmother appeared unconscious, under the mail truck, at the scene; another driver stopped and ran out to help the older child as the mail carrier pulled the 2-year-old out of the road.

The 2-year-old girl was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition; the toddler later died there. The 4-year-old child and the grandmother were also taken to a hospital; the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Chopper 4 footage from the scene showed a United States Postal Service truck and a motorcycle cordoned off by caution tape. The USPS driver remained at the scene; witnesses said the driver had the right of way.

"It's a lot of traffic here," said witness Edgar Rubin Gomez. "A lot of people, they don't want to wait for the lights so they just cross."

Kim Tansey said she travels in Elizabeth regularly and the intersection where the three people were hit "is a really bad intersection." She called the child's death "heartbreaking."

A spokesman for USPS said the Postal Service is conducting a full investigation and cooperating with authorities.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the tragic event today," spokesman George Flood said.

An armed man burst into a Philadelphia doughnut shop, jumped the counter then roughed up a woman working behind the counter during a heist earlier this month.

In hopes of tracking down the suspect, Philadelphia Police detectives released surveillance video Tuesday of the July 11 heist inside the Dunkin’ Donuts on N Broad and Parrish streets in the Francisville neighborhood.

The man, wearing a gray hoodie pulled tight and a scarf to conceal his face, can be seen on video running toward the eatery just before 4:50 a.m. and reaching into his pocket for a handgun. The employees can be seen preparing food for the day when the man enters the store and quickly jumps the counter, knocking a tray of doughnuts out of one worker’s hands before grabbing another woman and pushing her into the back.

The suspect can then be seen emerging from the back office and pointing his gun toward the other employee who then walks toward the office where the suspect is physically forcing a woman to open the safe. Video then captures the man loading up a bag full of cash as the employees attempt to stay out of his way.

After less than 90 seconds in the store, the man – believed to be about 5-foot, 8-inches tall – can be seen darting out of the employee entrance and running off toward Watts Street in the direction of Poplar Street.

Central detectives asked anyone with information to call 215-686-3093/3094.

Unidentified Woman's Body Parts Turn Up 50 Miles Apart

Two decades after a woman’s body parts were discovered scattered nearly 50 miles apart across two suburban Philadelphia communities, her identity and her killer remain mysteries.

A fisherman found the woman’s head and torso stuffed into a maroon leather suitcase near the Valley Creek in East Caln Township, Chester County on July 11, 1995, said Pennsylvania State Police. Several months later, the victim’s legs turned up about 50 miles away in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

Investigators released reconstructive sketches Tuesday of the homicide victim -- believed to have been between 18 to 40 years old at the time of her death, that show a woman with brown hair and brown eyes who stood about 5-foot, 3-inches tall and weighed around 125 pounds at the time of her death -- in hopes of finally solving the case. She only had worn a bra at the time but there was a light-blue denim shirt with a collar, long sleeves, copper-colored buttons, light colored bands across the chest and back, bed sheets and a denim skirt also in the case, said police.

The woman's face had already started to decompose by the time she was found and the body had sat in excessive heat and water making it more difficult to identify her. She had no tattoos and had little visible trauma besides an eye injury.

Despite a reconstruction from notable forensics sculptor Frank Bender, who is now deceased, and other sketches the woman remains a Jane Doe.

Anyone with information on the killing or identity of the victim is asked to contact state police Embreeville Station, Trooper 1st Class Chad Roberts at (717)299-7650 or Trooper Daniel Covert at (610)486-6214.

Authorities are offering a $2,500 reward for information about the whereabouts of the couple who abducted their 8-year-old son from his grandmother's home earlier this month.

Little Everett Streko's grandmother is his legal guardian. Authorities say the grandmother last saw the boy at her home in Green Brook Thursday, July 16.

The next morning, she told authorities she noticed her daughter-in-law, 32-year-old Amy Streko, who was also living in the residence, was missing, along with the 8-year-old boy and all of the child's personal belongings. The grandmother called police.

The child's biological father, 34-year-old Michael Streko, was last seen by neighbors moving out of his home in Neptune City July 17, the day the grandmother reported the 8-year-old missing.

Authorities believe the couple and the child are together. Michael and Amy Streko are in violation of a court order and are wanted for interference of child custody.

Amy Streko is known to operate a 2007 Grey 4 door Ford Focus bearing NJ Registration Y96-FHN. Michael Streko drives a 1997 White/Blue Winnebago bearing NJ Registration X72-FNK.

ID of Girl, 2, Killed by Mail Truck

Authorities have identified the 2-year-old girl who died when she was flung from her grandmother's arms after the duo, and the toddler's 4-year-old brother who was with them, were hit by a mail truck as they tried to cross a New Jersey street.

Sofia Flores was pronounced dead about an hour after the accident on Rahway Avenue in Elizabeth Monday. Her grandmother, 55-year-old Anna Chacon, was listed in critical but stable condition at a hospital after undergoing brain surgery Monday afternoon, hospital officials said.

A witness said Chacon had been trapped under the mail truck after it hit them. The 4-year-old boy was also taken to a hospital, but had "a few abrasions" and was expected to be OK.

Hospital officials said he remained at the hospital Monday evening as he waited for his father, who was at a different hospital with the dead 2-year-old, to pick him up.

Witnesses described a horrific scene as the mail truck slammed into the grandmother and young children; the impact ripped the toddler from her grandmother's arms and flung her into the air.

"When she looked back she saw the truck and turned but the baby flew up," said witness Andres Figueroa. "It's hard to see a baby like that."

Witnesses said another driver stopped and ran out to help the older child as the mail carrier pulled the 2-year-old out of the road.

The police investigation into the accident is ongoing, and there was no update Tuesday on the status of the United States Postal Service driver. Investigators are looking into whether the grandmother was in the crosswalk or whether she was crossing the street with the light.

People familiar with the area say the intersection is tough for both drivers and pedestrians to navigate.

A spokesman for USPS said Monday the Postal Service is conducting a full investigation and cooperating with authorities.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the tragic event today," spokesman George Flood said.

Trump's Best One-Liners From S.C. Campaign Stop

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump lashed out at his rivals and sounded off on a range of topics during a campaign stop in Bluffton, South Carolina, on Tuesday.

During the event, Trump responded to having been called a "jackass" by GOP presidential candidate and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham a day earlier by giving out what he said was Graham's phone number. He urged his audience to call Graham.

Graham's campaign manager responded by saying on Twitter that Trump "continues to show hourly that he is ill-prepared to be commander in chief."

And Graham seemed to wryly acknowledge the comment on his own Twitter account:

Here are a handful of Trump's colorful one-liners from the event:

On China:
"We give state dinners to the heads of China. I say, 'why are you doing state dinners for them? They're ripping us left and right. Just take them to McDonald's and go back to the negotiating table.'"

On GOP presidential candidate and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry:
"He put glasses on so people will think he's smart. It just doesn't work."

On GOP presidential candidate and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham:
"What a stiff," "a total lightweight," and "this idiot."

On politicians in general:
"They run and they run and they win and sometimes they lose. ... Most of them don't know what they're doing. They just keep running. It's like, you wind them up and they run for office."

On Twitter:
"It's like owning a newspaper without the losses."

On the military:
"I will build a military that's so strong that we'll never have to use it. Because they're gonna say, 'we're not messing with that guy and we're not messing with that country.'"
