Standoff at Bucks County Gun Shop: Police are monitoring a standoff with what they believe to be a lone individual at a gun shop in Bucks County. Officers closed off the area and roads around U.S. Route 13 in Tullytown, Pennsylvania early Monday due to a barricade situation at Mike's Gun Shop. The gun shop is located just across from the Levittown Shopping Center. Residents have been asked to stay inside their homes as officers respond to the scene.

WHAT YOU MISSED YESTERDAY
West Philly "Ice Palace" Starts to Melt, Residents Fear Collapse: Sunshine and warmer temperatures caused the melting of some of the ice covering the Locust Medical Center building at 52nd and Locust streets in West Philadelphia on Sunday.The building became encased in ice last Monday as firefighters tried to battle an early morning fire in freezing temperatures. Water being used to fight the flames froze to about an inch thick on sidewalks, cars and trees nearby.
After the property froze over, officials with the city's department Licenses and Inspections classified the building as "imminently dangerous." The Fire marshal began investigating the property and the owner is currently looking for a demolition company to tear it down.

U.S. Malls on Alert After Al Shabab Threats: The Somalia-based Islamist terrorist group al Shabab released a video Saturday calling for attacks on shopping malls in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. The new threat echos the group's 2013 attack on a Kenyan mall that killed more than 60 people.The video specifically referenced Minnesota's Mall of America, which has implemented additional security measures.

Immigration, Suicide, and Equal Rights, Oscars Speeches Filled With Political Activism: A night designated for honoring top actors in entertainment turned political, as several film stars took to the stage at the 87th Academy Awards on Sunday with more than your run-of-the-mill acceptance speech prepared. Patricia Arquette addressed equal pay for women, Common and John Legend discussed black male incarceration and civil rights, while Julianne Moore addressed the importance of research on Alzheimer's and ALS, and Graham Moore admitted to a teenage suicide attempt.
