Chick-Fil-A is giving away free food Tuesday, there's just one small catch — you have to wear a cow costume.

To celebrate Cow Appreciation Day, the chicken retailer is giving away free entrees to anyone who turns up at the store wearing something that gives a nod to the bovine-kind.

Chick-Fil-A suggests people dress "udderly crazy," but also say you can wear "any sort of cow apparel" to get the special offer.

That appears to mean if you wear any sort of cow-related item — ears, cow-print tee, hat or scarf — you can get your pick of a free entree at any outlet between opening and 7 p.m.

The fast food chain has put together a gallery of inspiration here.

Peanuts often come to mind as the quintessential airplane snack. But no more, Southwest Airlines announced.

The Dallas-based airline is ending the tradition on all flights beginning August 1, citing the need to keep passengers with peanut allergies safe.

“Our ultimate goal is to create an environment where all customers -- including those with peanut-related allergies -- feel safe and welcome on every Southwest flight,” the airlines said in a statement, in part.

Passengers can still snag free pretzels and other snacks on longer flights.

The 1980s classic "Big" is returning to theaters this weekend to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its original release.

Nostalgic fans can catch Tom Hanks as kid-turned-adult Josh Baskin when "Big" returns to the screen on Sunday and Wednesday, July 18.

More than one dozen theaters in the the greater Philadelphia region will screen "Big," including the Regal Riverview Plaza in Philadelphia; the Movies 16 in Somerdale, New Jersey; and Regal Brandywine Town Center 16 in Wilmington.

Across the country, more than 700 theaters will be showing the film, most of them at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day.

The showing is part of the yearlong TCM Big Screen Classics series, which will also feature "The Big Lebowski" and "South Pacific" later this summer. The special presentation will include pre- and post-film commentary by TCM Primetime host Ben Mankiewicz as an exclusive addition to the film itself.

A box-office hit for director Penny Marshall, the New York City-based "Big" tells the story of 12-year-old Josh, who grows up overnight after making a secret wish to a carnival fortune-teller machine (remember Zoltar?) and is forced to deal with consequences of being an adult much earlier than expected.

The role landed Hanks his first Best Actor Oscar nomination.

Tickets for "Big" can be purchased online at www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices.

South Jersey Crabber Contracts Flesh-Eating Infection

A man crabbing in the Maurice River in South Jersey is suffering from a flesh-eating infection in what one health official described as a very rare reaction to a common bacteria.

Angel Perez, 60, is now fighting to keep all his limbs in intensive care at a Camden hospital after effects from the infection began taking hold after his July 2 crabbing trip, according to his daughter.

His first words after having his breathing tubes removed were, "Don't take my legs. Please, don't take my legs," his daughter Dilena said.

The scary medical battle for Perez began when he noticed a skin rash after crabbing in the Cumberland County river near Matt's Landing in Commercial Township.

Soon, his legs started to swell and lesions began appearing on his skin.

Perez's severe reaction to the infection from a bacteria called vibrio vulnificus is extremely rare, according to Cumberland County health officer Megan Sheppard.

Vibrio vulnificus is common in New Jersey saltwater and brackish water, especially in the summer months, Sheppard said.

Most of the 80,000 cases of infection in the United States each year are caused by eating raw or undercooked shellfish, she said. Only about 205 of those cases develop from infections caused by the bacteria entering open flesh wounds, as is suspect in Perez's case.

"The immuno-compromised are typically more susceptible, " Sheppard said, adding that many cases involve vomiting and falling ill, but not the potential loss of limbs.

The small sandy stretch off Matt's Landing Road where Perez is believed to have been crabbing in the river has not been shut off to the public, as it is not an approved beach area anyway, Sheppard said.

Crabbing or fishing in the water increases the chances of a bacterial infection, compared to fishing from a boat or dock, she said.

Two men allegedly robbed a Philadelphia barbershop after being denied a haircut.

A barber at Prince Barber Shop on the 4600 block of Weymouth Street was finishing up a haircut before closing-time on Saturday at 5:50 p.m. when two men entered the shop. While inside, one of the suspects requested a haircut and allegedly become angry when the barber informed them that the shop was about to close.

The man then threatened the barber by displaying a handgun in his waistband, police said.

“If you’re not going to give me a haircut, then we’re robbing you,” the suspect allegedly said.

The barber then handed over his wallet, which contained both his I.D. and $400. The customer also gave $100 to the suspects, who fled the shop on foot. They were last seen heading east on Wyoming Avenue, before changing direction and heading south on Reach Street.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Philadelphia Police are asking anyone with any information about the crime or the suspects to call 215-686-8477. Anonymous tips can be submitted online by clicking here.

Smoke Pours From Massive Junkyard Fire in Philly

SkyForce10 is live over the scene Wednesday morning.

Firefighters battled a massive fire at an auto salvage junkyard in Philadelphia's Kensington section through the night.

The four-alarm fire started at the junkyard on Tulip and Somerset streets Tuesday night around 8:30. Several crushed cars and tires caught fire.

"A lot of the trains are close to it and a lot of chemicals and stuff, which is why it's an issue," Jim Fox, a volunteer firefighter, said. "There's tires in there. It's a big pile of cars that's right there. The gasoline and tanks and stuff like that."

The large flames and plumes of black smoke could be seen throughout the city. It continued to pour into the air during the Wednesday morning commute, slowing traffic in the area.

Aramingo Avenue between Lehigh and Allegheny avenues was closed and the thick smoke coming off the fire caused southbound traffic on Interstate 95 to slow as traffic backed up to the Betsy Ross Bridge.

Firefighters brought the flames under control around midnight as they poured tens of thousands of gallons of water onto the blaze. Two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Smoke continued to rise past 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Karl Koener of the Clean Air Council is monitoring potentially hazardous smoke particles.

"They're very, very small, smaller than the size of your hair and they get into your lungs and they can cause breathing problems, health defects," Koener said.

Officials have not yet revealed how the fire started.
