A young woman was arrested for allegedly trying to burn a pro-police American flag during Sunday’s Philly Pride Parade.

Ryan Segin, 18, of Woodbine, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with attempting to commit arson, causing/risking a catastrophe, recklessly endangering another person and other related offenses.

Police say Segin tried to burn a “thin blue line” American flag while in a crowd during the Pride Parade at 12th and Locust streets Sunday at 12:10 p.m. An officer took her into custody. No one was hurt during the incident.

The flag represents the “Blue Lives Matter” movement in support of police officers.

'Been Here Since Around Midnight': Stuck on Flooded I-76

While returning from a weekend camping trip, a Manayunk resident was left stranded on the Schuylkill Expressway for more than six hours Monday morning.

"I've been here since around midnight," Matthew Christopher told the NBC10 Morning News team.

Christopher detailed the conditions on Interstate 76 (it turns out the roadway flooded due to a jammed pipe) as traffic came to a complete stop.

Past the Conshohocklen/Route 23 Exit, traffic heading eastbound did not move for most of early Monday morning with the exception of a few trucks large enough to move through the high water.

As motorists waited for the pool of water in front of the jam to clear, cars further back became stuck as the rain continued to pour.

"There was actually a fairly large pool of water behind us as well that I think four or five cars were stuck in the middle," Christopher said.

After hours of confusion, workers began to walk through the cars, knocking on windows and explaining the situation.

Some drivers were then urged to turn around and head off the highway in the wrong direction.

Hopefully, Christopher got some sleep once he finally got off the highway and back to his home.

It took until about 10 a.m. for the roadway to reopen and at least one lane remained intermittently closed as crews continued to address the mess left by the standing water.

Domino's Pizza Is Fixing Potholes in Delaware

Pizza pies and pothole repair? Pizza chain Domino's is now in the business of doing both.

Through its "Paving for Pizza" program, Domino's recently started patching road craters on the streets of Milford, Delaware.

After finding out about the project this past winter, officials in the central Delaware city put in an application to Domino’s and was selected as one of the four municipalities to participate in the program's inaugural round of repairs.

This initiative is billed as an attempt to help delivery drivers and take-out customers safely transport their pizzas from the store their destination.

"Potholes, cracks, and bumps in the road can cause irreversible damage to your pizza during the drive home from Domino’s," the program’s website reads. "We can’t stand by and let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped. So we’re helping to pave in towns across the country to save your good pizza from these bad roads."

Over a couple weeks this spring, Domino's sent four construction workers to Milford to fill in potholes.

In total, the workers repaired 40 potholes along 10 roads. Each repaired pothole was spray-painted with the Domino's logo and the words "Oh yes we did."

"I think this is a unique opportunity from the private sector in terms of assisting local municipalities and helping repair potholes," Mark Whitfield, Milford's Director of Public Works, told NBC10.

"Have you ever hit a pothole and instantly cringed? We know that feeling is heightened when you're bringing home a carryout order from your local Domino's store. We don't want to lose any great-tasting pizza to a pothole, ruining a wonderful meal," said Russell Weiner, president of Domino's USA. "Domino's cares too much about its customers and pizza to let that happen."

Domino’s plans to continue the program and they're asking customers to nominate their town for the program. Click here to submit your own application.

A New Jersey family is frantically searching for a mother of a 7-year-old girl who hasn't been seen in nearly three weeks.

Erin Stack, of Ridgefield Park, suffers from several disorders and didn't take her medication when she vanished May 22, her mother Lori Stack wrote in a Facebook post earlier this month.

Lori Stack says her daughter was last spotted wearing a black Johnny Cash T-shirt that her daughter Emma had given her for Mother's Day just a few weeks prior.

"We are super concerned and worried," Lori Stack wrote. She said a missing persons report had been filed. "Please pray we find her safe."

The Facebook post has been shared more than 7,300 times since Lori Stack posted it June 2.

Naked Woman Found Shot Dead Near Philly Church

A woman, naked with the exception of her socks, was found shot in the head and dead near a West Philadelphia church early Tuesday. Investigators called it a highly unusual death.

Just after midnight officers responded to 911 calls about gunfire along Springfield Avenue. They arrived to find the woman bleeding from the head on the sidewalk near St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

Medics pronounced her dead a short time later. The woman, who appears to be in her 20s, had no identification on her, Small said.

It was unclear if the woman shot herself or someone else pulled the trigger, investigators said.

Police found a handgun on the sidewalk about 5 to 6 feet away from the woman’s body, Small said.

“Witnesses did hear one or two gunshots and the fact that she’s laying on the sidewalk and she’s completely naked other than socks on her feet, makes this an unusual crime scene,” Small said.

The early indication is that the woman killed herself but further investigation was needed, police said. The medical examiner would perform an autopsy Tuesday.

At least one person was transported from the scene with injuries, dispatchers said.

Traffic was at first stopped behind the crash scene. After about 30 minutes, one lane slowly began to get by. The road was temporarily closed again as the wrecked cars were placed on tow trucks.
