After 4 Days and Deadlock, No Verdict Reached in Bill Cosby Trial: A jury weighing the fate of comedian Bill Cosby in his sexual assault trial remained deadlocked Thursday night ending a fourth day of deliberations without a resolution. Around 8:45 p.m., Common Pleas Judge Scott O'Neill told the jurors to head home for the night and return Friday morning to continue discussing the case. Cosby smiled, but didn't comment as he left the Norristown, Pennsylvania courthouse, he and his entourage's path lit by the glow of TV camera lights. Earlier in the day, the jury told O'Neill they could not come to a unanimous decision on any of the three counts of aggravated indecent assault levied against Cosby. He told them to keep on trying, sending the talks into the night. So far, they've logged 40 hours and 26 minutes of deliberations, county officials said. O'Neill also denied a defense mistrial motion after the jury's revelation.

Atlantic City Beach Patrol said the teens were reported missing around 6:30 p.m. after they disappeared in the water off Martin Luther King Boulevard beach. Beach patrol arrived five minutes later and there were no signs of them. It's not yet clear how old the teens are or if they were related. Man Who Robbed Bank to Avoid Wife Sentenced to Home Confinement: A 70-year-old Kansas man who said he robbed a Kansas City bank so he could get away from his wife was sentenced Tuesday to six months of home confinement. A federal judge also sentenced Lawrence John Ripple to three years of supervised probation, including 50 hours of community service, the Kansas City Star reports. Ripple went to the Bank of Labor — a block from police headquarters — last September. He gave a note to a teller saying he had a gun and was demanding money. After the teller handed him the cash, Ripple waited for police. Court records indicate Ripple wrote the robbery note in front of his wife and told her he would rather be in jail than at home. Ripple told the judge Tuesday that heart surgery left him depressed and unlike himself before he robbed the bank. He had no criminal record, was a good father to four step-children and was in a stable relationship with his wife. Ripple's public defender said he has since been properly diagnosed, is on proper medication and feels like his normal self again, the Kansas City Star reports.

5 Sets of Pennsylvania Twins Graduate at Same Time: On Friday, 10 Carbondale Area High School students, each a twin, will walk the stage for their diplomas. As high school seniors around the region prepare for graduation this month, Friday may mark the last accomplishment the twins will have to share with each other. The high number of twin sets seems to have some precedent at Carbondale Area. There are eight fraternal twins this year: Alexandra and Maresa Artone, 18; Kati and Kenny Cotton, 18; Genna and Zachary McDonough, 18; and Devin and Patrick Smith, 18. And, there are two identical twins: Alaina and Alyssa Gerek, 17. High school secretary Melissa Regal's husband, Frank Regal, was a twin. When he and his sister, Brenda Regal Cominsky, graduated in 1983, they were among six sets of twins. Read more.
